HD radio sources or where to buy
There are already a number of HD radio sources, including both brick-and-mortar stores such as Best Buy and Circuit City, and online outlets. You will even find HD Radio technology radios and receivers available via eBay. Another good source of HD radio sources is the comparison sites such as NexTag and Shopzilla. These sites allow you to insert the name and number of a particular radio and then see which online outlets are selling it and at what price. For example, I recently search for the Boston Acoustics Recepter HD radio on Shopzilla.com and found it available at both Cruitchfield and Amazon.com. And when I searched for the JVC KD-SHX900 HD radio, I found it available from 12 sellers, including buy.com, carstereoclearance, CarDomain, and DigitalPhoto at prices ranging from $444.89 to $601.99, proving once again the old adage, “it pays to shop around. HD Radio technology receivers are a bit more difficult to find. At this point, the best bet for these receivers is probably stores specializing in home theater systems or high-end sound systems.
