At $299.99, the Cambridge Soundworks Radio 820HD is clearly not for everyone. However, Cambrdige Soundworks says its "high performance audio is perfectly complemented by its sleek design and intuitive controls. During development, our engineers paid special attention to ensure the clearest possible reception of HD Radio broadcasts; a unique-in-class telescoping antenna supports the FM band and an external AM loop antenna provides AM reception."

In addition, the Cambridge Soundworks Radio 820HD has a unique-in-class telescoping antenna to support the FM band and an external AM loop antenna to support the AM band. There are also dual alarms with seven day, five day and one day patterns, convenient AUX input and headphone output and magnetic shielding that allows the radio to be placed close to TVs, computer monitors and magnetic media.

The Cambridge Soundworks Radio 820HD includes a full function IR remote. Plus,

  • Power button with SLEEP DELAY feature
  • Two rotary controllers for primary functions (Volume, Tuning, Options Selection)
  • Snooze/Mute bar
  • unction selector (AUX, FM, AM, Favorite)
  • Alarm 1, Alarm 2 push buttons
  • JOG push buttons for options navigation

    The unit boasts a headphone stereo minijack, AUX stereo minijack and optical digital output.

    It is 4 3/8" H x131/4" W x 71/2" D and weighs 8 lbs.
