I found this article by Sean Ross the other day and thought it was excellent. He purchased a RadioShack Accurian HD radio recently and found some good and some bad things about it. He also takes the broadcast industry to task on a number of issues. I agree wholeheartedly with just about everything Sean had to say.

HD Radio to make big splash at Detroit Auto Show January 7, 2007 14:10 |
HD Radio will be getting a big promotional push at this year's North American International Auto Show. A mobile HD promotion will make its debut in Detroit on Wednesday, January 10 and will continue throughout the show. A 15-person street team will fan out in orange jump suits and hats to hand out HD Radio lanyards and VIP cards at the show. Those who get a VIP card can go to HDRadio.com and register to win an HD Radio converter for their car.
